About Me
I call myself, a left side of the brain kinda gal; anything that sparks creativity, I LOVE! I have had a connection with art as early as 5; with my grandmother teaching me to draw flowers; this led to me winning my first art contest in Kindergarten. I was the child who you might catch doodling during class, but hey, my science teacher was impressed and hung it up. As a teen I got accepted at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, in the Museum Studies department; here, I would discover my love for Photography and Graphic Design. I graduated 2008 with one of the most prestigious awards, “The Spirit of Ellington.” I also got accepted into the Photography Department at the Art Institute of Washington; winning the department’s top scholarship out of 15 students nationwide.
Life happened and I took a break from school however I never let art go. I have found a way to incorporate my art in employee endeavors through: Latte Art, Food Art, Chalk Art, Display Boards and Social Media Content.
I love composite images! To me it’s like a puzzle; seeing what elements of one photo goes with another and layering to really add character, to create a brand new dynamic/feel!

Chalk Art
One of my favorite aspects of my barista jobs were creating Chalk Art. Such a fun and whimsical way to grab customers attention and drive sales!
Display Boards
My concept behind my display boards, at my library position has been, to get people to fall back in love with reading and to rediscover the magic at their neighborhood library!

Decks
My spiritual decks showcase a nice balance of typography and photo manipulation; as well as layering various non vector images.
"I had a dream about you last night
Your eyes were shining so bright
Those lips and that bittersweet smile
I need this forever
Beautiful dream, yeah, yeah
Don't know what it means, yeah, yeah
All I know is I don't know
But I need this forever."

Baskets
Interwoven Favors was a small business I created based off the success of my baskets during the holiday season 2020. (pre pandemic.) Business slowed down and I haven’t been able to pick it back up but I still enjoy creating baskets for friends loved ones and staff at my daughter’s school!
